Lytvynchuk N.V. Descriptive and statistic publications and documentation of the second half of the 20th century as the sources of Sumy region crafts and trades study
- The article deals with the survey of descriptive and statistic publications and published and unpublished documentation of the second half of the XIXth century and the beginning of the XXth century which are very important for the research on history and peculiarities of crafts and trades existence in Sumy region. As a result of analyzing the corresponding historiography and source base of this period it was identified that the experience of statistical and economic research on craft and trade activity form the basis for ethnographic study of peoples craft and trade activity development with its findings appearing mostly in the 70-ies of the XIXth century and the beginning of the XXth century.
